Discover all the new releases of the week by Belgian artists.
💿 ANGèLE releases her third album 'INSTINCT' including new collaborations with Soulwax and Caroline Polacheck, besides the singles we already know with Justice or her latest release 'Dit-Le'. A massive free party takes place tonight in Grand-Place to present the record.
💿 MAGUIE presents her debut EP 'C'est Nous Les Autres', with singles like 'Le Sourire'. The Brussels-raised artist will present her new music live at Café Flora this same Friday 16. Check out our exclusive interview with her here.
💿 'Demain Sera Meilleur' is the new single by Aneres, an independent Brussels-based artist developing an Afro R&B sound that blends emotion, sincerity and melody.
"With this song, I wanted to share a message of hope and comfort, inspired by those moments when we simply need someone to remind us that things will eventually get better. I wrote and performed this song with the intention of sharing something personal that could also resonate with others", she said.
💿 Simon Le Ma released third album titled 'Get Sweaty'. Following 'The Housewarming LP' (2023) and 'Train of Thought' (2024), the Ghent-based musician embraces a fresh sound inspired by classic Motown, funk and soul. The album explores love, loss and personal reinvention with a generous dose of humour.
💿 Belgian musician J.Bernardt, the solo project of Balthazar's Jinte Deprez, unveils 'Remedy', a track from his upcoming third studio album, 'Wild Swim', arriving on 13 November.
💿 'MAZDA' is the third studio album by Belgian DJ Jennifur. The album started when his brother sent him a playlist called MAZDA, named after the car their parents drive. The playlist was made up of songs their father would play during car rides, and what began as a simple trip down memory lane soon became the emotional starting point for the album. On 23 October he will present his music live at Le Botanique. Get your tickets here.
"I wanted to make an album that feels like a long car ride. You’re looking out of the window as the landscape shifts outside, and suddenly you see everything from a distance: the people you love, the places you’re heading towards, what you’ve lost and what you’re looking for. The album finds meaning in reflection without ever standing still.", he said.
💿 Brussels-based hip-hop duo B-Phace & Frimps Joe (Belgian-Ghanaian) released joint album 'MG4L' (My Gee For Life), 14 tracks on loyalty, faith and family, blending boom-bap with Twi-infused storytelling. Their new single and videoclip 'Ocean Waves I' is also out now.
💿 ZELEE presents new r&b single 'L O V E Y O U', about wanting more than friendship and trying to figure out if the feeling is mutual.
