Usi ES releases 'Berlin (Usi ES version)', her own interpretation of the Wholes' song, released also this week. The song is about alienation from who we are, through systems that are bigger than ourselves. While Wholes views it from the economic standpoint, Usi ES wrote about how her Moluccan family ended up in the Netherlands through New Guinea.
Rebecca Haffner presents 'Journey', an uplifting fusion of Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop and Alternative Pop about getting back up, moving forward and choosing your own direction. Driven by soulful vocals/rap, empowering lyrics and a bright sound, it’s made for motivational playlists, radio airplay and stories about resilience.
Bianca Rastafiore releases new single '#3 (The funk song)' is a fun, funky and catchy song about a strong and ambitious woman who knows what she wants and goes after it. She may look graceful and sweet, but underneath she is determined, powerful, and not afraid to get what she wants. With its catchy 'Woman' chorus, the song has a fun, bold attitude and an easy-to connect with message about confidence, independence and female strength.
JEN releases new single titled 'I'll Do It Myself', is a veritable punky middle finger to a society in which individualism seems to be increasingly becoming the norm, but also an ode to asserting oneself, taking charge, and forging one's own path. Because sometimes, the message is quite simply: fuck it, I'll do it myself. The song is a new taste of JEN's debut album, 'Any Questions?', which will be released on 16 October and she will present it live in Ancienne Belgique in November.
SaMajesté presents 'Pardon', an "R&B-plus" track that explores the contradictions of a young man torn between his repeated mistakes and his need for redemption. Balancing intimate confession with a party vibe, the song highlights the duality of an artist who is having fun yet remains aware of his shortcomings—all driven by unconventional chords and polished production. 'Pardon' is also the first official single from 'SaMaStories Vol. 1'
