Out 16 October

Angèle has presented the cover and tracklist of her new album, including new collaborations with Soulwax and Caroline Polacheck, besides the singles we already know with Justice or her latest release 'Dit-Le'. The album is out on 16 October and you can already pre-order it in her website.

She also released a new single 'Une Seule Vie' and its videoclip, directed by Thomas Mailaender. Entirely shot in 16 mm, the film uses analog, stop motion, slow-motion, overprints, mirrors and printed images, to give a real existence to these visions.

The analog thus becomes the natural language of the clip: a fragile and imperfect subject to talk about memory, nostalgia and the time that escapes us. But the film also seeks to capture the present. The eclipse that we have all just experienced enters the clip like a real moment, collective and ephemeral, recorded on film. And in a pink sunset, a biker hanging from a construction machinery turns in the air above a parking lot. An absurd and jubilant image, as an invitation to let go and live fully this one life that is ours.

The Brussels singer is also cover of the new edition of Vanity Fair in France where she talks about this new era, "I mourned the loss of wanting to control what people say about me", says in the interview's headline. It took Angèle ten years to master everything, writing, composition, production, image, without ever letting herself be formatted.
