Tame Impala, first artist confirmed for Rock Werchter 2027

None other than Tame Impala will bring Rock Werchter to a close on Sunday 4 July 2027. Since 'InnerSpeaker' was released in 2010, Tame Impala has carved out a unique place in the musical landscape. Behind Tame Impala is Kevin Parker, the Australian musician and producer who blends psychedelic rock, pop and electronic music into groundbreaking, genre-defying soundscapes. Tame Impala has since grown into a global success story, with billions of streams, gold and platinum albums, and several major music awards to its name. And, of course, a string of hits such as The Less I Know The Better, Lost In Yesterday, Let It Happen, Is It True, Dracula and Loser . The latter has even topped the Global Spotify Chart since last week. Last May, Tame Impala delivered an unforgettable night at AFAS Dome with an impressive production, an incredible atmosphere and Parker’s colourful musical universe on full display. Next stop: Rock Werchter.
